Ryanair air traffic up 8%, over 1000 flights cancelled due to strikes and conflict
Ryanair flew 17.3 million passengers in the month of April 2024, up 8% from 16 million in the same period last year. Its load factor was down two percentage points to 92%. Nearly 700 flights were cancelled due to the Israel/Gaza conflict and over 340 flights cancelled due to the French ATC strikes on April 25. It operated over 98,400 flights during the month.
