African cargo airline Royal Air Maroc Cargo said March 3, 2025, it is now offering three direct flights between Casablanca and Beijing's Daxing International Airport. The new service uses 787-9 aircraft and adds 30 tones of weekly cargo uplift each way. The first flight on the route began January 20, 2025.
“Our newly launched, thrice-weekly service out of China's largest airport, not only provides a highly efficient service for Chinese goods destined for Africa, but also offers a direct onward connection to Brazil, thanks to our recently commenced Sao Paolo route,” said Royal Air Maroc VP cargo Yassine Berrada.
The company said cargo demand into Beijing is strong with the growing interest from China in African exports.
