Aeroflot subsidiary, Rossiya, may be up for sale shortly after the Russian transport ministry asked for proposals for its potential sale, according to local media reports. It has been suggested that Aeroflot may have too firm a hold on the Russian market and the sale of Rossiya would go some way to alleviating these concerns. However, no official reason has been given for the decision.
