Norwegian group carried 2.3 million passengers in April, consisting of 1.9 million passengers for Norwegian and 334,228 passengers for Wideroe.
Norwegian's load factor was 83.6%, up 3.2 percentage points, while Wideroe's load factor was 71.8%, up 7.7 percentage points.
“Easter contributed to a solid load factor in April, despite capacity increasing by over 25% compared to last year's Easter week,” said Norwegian CEO Geir Karlsen. “In addition, we are proud that Wideroe managed to set a record in the number of passengers during a single day, not once, but twice.”
