Lufthansa Technik entered into a non-exclusive contract with Avianca to provide maintenance support for the airline's LEAP-1A engines. Avianca is now Lufthansa Technik's first customer in South America that has signed on for its LEAP-1A services.
Through this cooperation, Lufthansa Technik will provide quick turn services for the engines powering Avianca's A320neo fleet.
