Qantas subsidiary Jetstar has launched the inaugural flight of its new service from Brisbane to Cebu on Wednesday (December 3)
The seasonal route adds over 37,000 seats annually.
The launch follows a week after it launched its new Perth to Manila service. “The route has been so popular that Jetstart has already added an extra weekly service to the schedule for the new year,” the airline said.
Both routes add 109,000 seats annually.
The growth of its international network is supported by its investment in its next-generation fleet, including A321LR and A321neo aircraft, as well as refresh of its 787 fleet.
“As demand for international travel continues to rise, our expanding fleet is allowing us to deliver more low fares to exciting new destinations,” said Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully.
