Japan Airlines (JAL) has reported that personal information of up to 750,000 of its frequent flyer programme customers had been compromised due to a cyber attack. The airline did not confirm if customers’ banking details had also been affected.
According to a statement to Japanese media, the leak was due to an "unauthorized access" to JAL's database by an external server.
