Once a nuclear agreement has been reached with the international community, Iran is planning to buy Airbus and Boeing passenger aircraft through long-term payment agreements to upgrade its ageing fleet, says transport minister Abbas Akhoundi.
Iran plans to buy 80 to 90 Airbus and Boeing airliners annually until it has 300 to replace its ageing fleet.
