Investec’s aviation team has closed a senior debt facility for a Genesis managed, Barings investment, involving 12 end-of-life narrowbody aircraft leased to a diversified group of lessees.
"By combining our financing capabilities with our in-house technical insights, we successfully structured and underwrote the entire debt facility," said Joseph Barnwell, debt origination at Investec Aviation.
The deal marks Investec’s second transaction with Genesis, following a single-aircraft senior debt facility completed in 2024.
