Indonesia's TransNusa launches four new domestic routes

Indonesia's TransNusa has launched four new domestic routes today (December 15), marking an expansion of the airline's total network to 19 routes within three years of operations.

“What we envisioned for TransNusa was to build an Indonesian-based airline with strong fundamentals,” said TransNusa Group CEO Datuk Bernard.

“Today, thanks to our hard working and diligent team, the TransNusa brand has grown to resonate confidence and trust.”

Bernard added that TransNusa shareholder China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) and other business partners had played a “large role” in helping to build and develop the airline.

Within six months of operations, TransNusa launched its first international route between Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur, followed by three additional international routes in that same year, including Singapore and China.
