International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced that 55% of Continental Airlines cabin crew staff have rejected a new proposal by the airline.
The new deal was rejected because it didn’t include an offer to fully reinstate items they sacrificed during the last round of negotiations. The union represents nearly 9,300 of Continental’s cabin crewmembers.
