Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has completed the main cargo door cutting on its A330-300BDSF aircraft, the company said on July 18, 2025.
This marks a “key phase” in its passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programme.
The modification will allow for increased cargo volume, faster loading and unloading, and reduced turnaround time.
“This is all possible due to the strategic placement of the unique main cargo door,” the company said. “This accomplishment underscores IAI's engineering expertise and strengthens our global leadership in aircraft conversion solutions.”
