Hong Kong Aviation Capital has acquired the second of three A330-200 aircraft today for lease to Hawaiian Airlines.
“Our growing fleet of new A330s is enabling us to diversify and expand the Hawaiian Airlines franchise in new and growing markets for Hawaii tourism and meet strong consumer demand for travel to Hawaii internationally and domestically,” said Mark Dunkerley, Hawaiian Airlines’ CEO.
Donal Boylan, HKAC's CEO, said: “HKAC is delighted to extend our relationship with Hawaiian Airlines. The addition of the second of HKACs three A330s to the carrier continues our expansion into North America and strengthens the links further between Hawaiian Airlines and our Asian home markets.” The final delivery is scheduled for April 2013.
This delivery marks the 75th aircraft in HKAC’s portfolio.
