Heathrow Airport cancelled around 100 flights on December 22, 2024, the weekend before Christmas as the typical travel rush took place. Passengers were advised to check with their respective airline ahead of travel.
A spokesperson for the airport said the airport was operating as normal the following day, with the weather warnings passing.
