Embraer said it has nailed down "a new firm order for five E195-E2 aircraft from an undisclosed airline" in a deal worth US$ 389.4 million.
Four of the new jets will be ready by the end of next year, with the fifth to follow in early 2024, the Brazilian manufacturer said, citing a "backlog".
The unnamed carrier, according to Embraer, has "exciting new plans for future growth".
