Air and travel services provider dnata has signed a joint venture agreement with Azerbaijan's Silk Way Group to establish ground handling and cargo operations at the new airport, Alat International Airport.
The venture is set to launch with the opening of the new terminal in April 2027.
Alat International Airport’s advanced logistics facilities will be capable of handling more than 500,000 tonnes of cargo per year, with a projected annual volume growth of 5% over the next decade.
