Lufthansa subsidiary Discover Airlines is expanding its short and medium-haul network during the summer period of 2026, offering flights to over 40 destinations from Frankfurt and Munich as it adds capacity and new routes.
The leisure carrier will become the only airline to operate direct flights from Germany to Shannon, with a twice-weekly service from Frankfurt starting in April.
Discover will also launch daily flights to Larnaca from both Frankfurt and Munich beginning in late March. These routes were previously served by Lufthansa.
In Italy, Discover will add Brindisi to its schedule, offering twice-weekly flights from Frankfurt between June and October.
To support the expansion, Discover’s short and medium-haul fleet will grow to 18 A320s by spring 2026, with 11 aircraft based in Frankfurt and seven in Munich.
