The Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC) chairman Jin Zhuanglong has revealed to Russian media that it is planning to design a new widebody aircraft with Russia’s United Aircraft Corp. next year. The new aircraft will be based on the Ilyushin IL-96 aircraft with a capacity of 250-300 seats.
