China denies Lufthansa’s route request in protest over EU EST

China Development Bank (CDB) Financial Leasing and its subsidiary CDB Aviation Lease Finance have entered into a purchase agreement with Airbus for 80 A320neo family aircraft. The agreement was made on September 11, 2024.
The company expects to take delivery between 2030 and 2032. It added that the acquisition is part of its strategy to "optimise the fleet structure and increase the proportion of next-generation aircraft".
