Boeing delivers 57 aircraft in August 2025

Boeing delivered 57 aircraft in August 2025, marking a sharp improvement from the 40 jets delivered in the same period last year, and up from 48 in July.

Deliveries fall just slightly short of Airbus' 61 deliveries in August.

Of the 57 deliveries, 42 were 737 MAX jets. The US assembler is still under the FAA imposed 38 per month production cap on the 737 MAX jet, with it aiming to lift the cap to 42 later this year. The company delivered 37 737 MAX jets in July and 32 in August last year. Boeing previously said it wants to consistently produce 38 737 MAX jets per month before requesting a lift in the cap. It is expected that subsequent cap lips will follow shortly after the first.

For August, Boeing recorded orders for 26 aircraft. This included two 737 MAX for TUI, 14 777X for Cathay Pacific, and two 787-10 for Air New Zealand. The remaining eight orders include three 737 MAX and five 787-9s for unidentified customers.
