Aventure Aviation has acquired 12 737NGs formerly operated by Alaska Airlines.
“This is a major milestone for Aventure… it's by far the largest amount of aircraft we have purchased at one time,” said Aventure president Talha Faruqi.
The aircraft will undergo teardown in phases in Arizona.
“Each aircraft was owned and operated solely by Alaska Airlines for its entire lifecycle,” added Faruqi. “This provides a well-documented service record from one of the world's leading airlines, enhancing both traceability and component reliability.”
The company's director of asset management Andrew Crombie said the aircraft come at a “pivotal moment” as it nears completion of its new facility in Peachtree City.
