Arena Aviation Capital has completed the acquisition of a portfolio of 10 Embraer E190-100 LR aircraft, operated by AeroMexico, on behalf of a US based investor client.
The aircraft are subject to finance lease structures and represent Arena's first investment in the regional aircraft space.
The transaction, sourced from Brasilmex Leasing, was “notably complex”, the company said. After 24 months of structuring and execution, the deal was concluded before the final aircraft was delivered on June 17, 2025.
“As Arena we have for years considered regional jet aircraft opportunities but could not make it work for the investors we work with,” said Arena Aviation Capital chief commercial officer Erik Dahmen. “This particular transaction, because of the credit quality involved, the structure and the underlying asset ticked the boxes we needed.”
