Alaska Airlines is adding new nonstop routes from its key hubs in Anchorage and Portland.
From spring next year, Alaska is adding three additional routes from Anchorage to Boise, Boston, and Spokane, and four additional routes from Portland to Bellingham, Everett/Paine Field, and Pasco in Washington State, and Jackson Hole in Wyoming.
“Anchorage and Portland are essential airports to our guests and us in our growing global network,” said Alaska Airlines vice president of revenue management and network planning Kirsten Amrine.
Alaska will operate the Anchorage-Boise route with two roundtrips per week. Anchorage-Boston will operate a weekly roundtrip. Anchorage-Spokane will operate twice per week.
Additionally, the airline has added a second weekly nonstop service between Anchorage and both Sacramento and San Diego for the summer season. Alaska said these additions were due to “strong demand”.
Portland-Bellingham will operate daily, while the Portland-Pasco route will operate twice daily.
The airline's resumption of its Portland-Everett route will operate year-round daily flights.
During the summer season, it will operate nonstop flights between Portland and Jackson Hole twice a week, beginning June 10.
