Latvia's airBaltic will extend its summer season flights from Riga to Catania, Malta, Porto and Valencia into winter.
The airline is to launch 11 new routes for the winter season, taking it to "around 80 routes connecting Riga and other cities in the region".
The carrier said it "takes passenger demand and preferences into consideration when selecting destinations, and these four locations have proven to be very popular as sunny leisure destinations".
