Latvian airline airBaltic reported a total of 497,800 passengers in June 2025, up 2% compared to last year. This comes despite the number of flights declining slightly by 1.6% to 4,314 flights in the month.
The airline said this was driven primarily due to network optimisation at the start of this year. The airline improved its load factor by 2.1 percentage points to 84.1%.
“The increase in passenger numbers, and a higher load factor, highlights sustained demand for airBaltic's services,” the airline said in its report.
