In order to boost resources, Air India is considering selling overseas properties in Hong Kong, Nairobi and Mauritius. The sale of underused real estate assets could significantly boost the airline’s aim to raise an estimated Rs5,000 crore over a period of 10 years, with an annual target of Rs500 crore from 2013-14 onwards, in its turnaround plan.
