AMTRA Aero Component Solutions (AACS) has acquired one Boeing 757-200 aircraft. The aircraft, bearing MSN 27810, was previously operated by New Pacific Airlines.
The aircraft will be torn down on site in Mojave, California. The components will be for used serviceable material (USM) market.
“The strategic acquisition of a 757 will diversify our component pool reach to not only 757 operators, but 767 operators as well,” said AACS chief commercial officer Pablo Aguirre.
The 757 and 767 share component commonality, including rotables, avionics, and systems. AACS said this will allow for a wider customer base over a single-type disassembly.
