In an employee meeting on March 6, 2024, Boeing shared new annual incentive plans for executives, managers, and employees. Most notably, 60% of Boeing Commercial Airplanes’ annual incentive payouts for the year ahead will be based on safety and quality metrics. It was also revealed that to qualify for incentive payouts, employees will also be required to complete product safety (SMS) training and new quality management training courses before the end of the year. “Each and every one of you should see these at your level with your contribution,” said Boeing chief operating officer Stephanie Pope during the employee webcast.
