A Boeing 737 aircraft leased to Yakutia Airlines that was detained following a financial dispute has been returned to Russia from Anchorage. The aircraft was leased to the airline from International Lease Finance Corporation, which was forced to detain the aircraft since it was owed $2.6 million by the airline in back lease payments. The fact that the aircraft has been returned suggests, but has not been confirmed, that the airline has paid its dues.
