US airlines carried 67.2 million passengers across both domestic and international operations during February, according to data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS).
The department stated that this number is down 4.6% from an all-time high recorded in February of last year.
From the 67.2 million recorded passengers, 58.2 million were passengers travelling domestically and nine million were on international services, operated by US airlines.
