Robert Agnew, president and CEO of MBA, has warned of uncertainty in the regional aircraft sector and stated that due to the crowded market, regional aircraft manufacturers will face a “battle of attrition”.
He also warned that not all of the five manufacturers ATR, Bombardier, Embraer, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corp., and Sukhoi may survive, especially since ensuring a “global network of spares and infrastructure support for aircraft that look likely to have low production rates is tough to do”, he said.
