Turkish Airlines (THY) has stated it has received the first of the 12 777-300ER (Extended Range) aircraft it ordered from Boeing company.
THY executive board chairman Hamdi Topcu said of its 145-strong fleet, 73 aircraft were Boeing. Once all the 777-300ERs had been delivered by April 2011, Topcu said that 60% of the fleet would be Boeing.
