Private airline company Sriwijaya Airlines has announced it is to purchase 10 new 737-800 NG aircraft to serve new international and domestic routes. The deal is expected to sign next week. Delivery of the 10 aircraft will begin in 2012.
Sriwijaya’s current fleet consists of 27aircraft: 13 727-200s, eight 737-300s and six 737-400.
