SMBC Aviation Capital has signed lease agreements with Turkish Airlines’ subsidiary AJet for five A320neo aircraft.
With these direct leases to AJet, the aircraft will bring the number of SMBC Aviation Capital’s portfolio placed at Turkish Airlines to 25 aircraft, since 2022.
These five Airbus aircraft are scheduled to be delivered from the fourth quarter of 2025 through to the second quarter of next year.
The transaction marks a further step in AJet’s fleet expansion.
