In a statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange, bankrupt Skymark Airlines Inc has stated that it has secured 9 billion yen ($77 million) from private-equity fund Integral Corp. to enable the airline to keep stable cash flow during the bankruptcy process. The cash will be converted into equity.
Skymark is continuing to seek more sponsors as it prepares its business recovery plan by the end of May.
