Chilean low-cost carrier Sky Airline has awarded MTU Maintenance an exclusive total engine care maintenance eight-year contract covering its fleet of CFM56-5B engines.
As well as core maintenance, MTU Maintenance will provide the airline with spare engines via its engine lease company MTU Maintenance Lease Services with on-site repairs and MTUPlus Engine Trend Monitoring. The engines will be overhauled at MTU Maintenance’s Asian location in Zhuhai, China.
