Singapore has been re-elected into the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), at the 37th Session of the ICAO Assembly in Montreal, Canada on October 2, 2010. Minister for Transport Mr Raymond Lim, who led the Singapore delegation to the ICAO Assembly and Council Election, said, "We are honoured to be re-elected into the ICAO Council, and to continue contributing to international efforts to promote the safety, security, and sustainability of civil aviation.
