Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is to start flying from Aalborg and Gothenburg to New York (Newark) in April 2023, with the thrice-weekly connections meaning the carrier will be offering five routes a day to the city.
"We see a demand from secondary cities and are delighted to connect even more parts of the world," said Erik Westman, SAS executive vice president and chief commercial officer, network and revenue management.
