Safran is set to open a new aircraft carbon brake facility near Lyon, France.
The move will expand the footprint of the landing systems business line that provides parts for several military and commercial aircraft.
With 18 facilities located globally, Safran believes that this opening will strengthen the business line’s presence further.
The new site is set to become operational in 2024 and will eventually create up to 200 new jobs, Safran says.
