Rolls-Royce has reached agreement with unions on up to 700 UK job cuts this year, with the rest of its planned 3000 reduction in headcount intended to come from employees taking voluntary buyouts.
The company announced in June it planned to lay-off 3,000 British workers in 2020. While more than that number applied for voluntary severance, the company will still make enforced reductions in some areas, spokeswoman told Bloomberg.
