Philippine Airlines is reported to be considering leasing out its fleet of 777-300ERs if the country fails to attain US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Category 1 status. PAL president, Ramon S. Ang, said it may lease out its five 777s to defray the cost of maintaining the aircraft.
