The management of South African Airways' (SAA) has confirmed that managers will not receive any salary increases this year as the airline attempts to turnaround its finances. Media outlets are reporting that this salary freeze is not company-wide and only applies to managers and above, which has been causing some friction at the airline. Labourers at the airline have been promised a salary increase of six percent following negotiations with the union earlier this year.
