According to reports from Kinshasa, the transport ministry of the Democratic Republic of Congo was awarded a new turnkey project last week to install a new air traffic control and management system across the country.
It is understood that the latest European technology will be introduced and installed in key centres across the country, while staff of the Congolese air traffic control will undergo training on the use and maintenance of the new system.
