The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is currently processing air operators certificate (AOC) applications for nine new airlines.
The new airlines are: Sky Bird, Axiom, Top Brass, Apex, Freedom, First Nation, Private Airline, West Coast and Ramaniya.
Sky Bird is widely expected to be approved first as local media report that its management team along with managing director, Samuel Ayodele, met with the acting director general of the NCAA, Patrick Ekunwen, to finalise its application.
