Lufthansa Cargo has opened a new freighter station in Katowice, Poland.
Operations to the new facility commenced on April 3, 2025, with a flight from the operator's hub in Frankfurt. Going forward, Lufthansa Cargo will fly twice weekly to the station.
With this expansion, Lufthansa Cargo said it is “strengthening its position” in the European market, while improving connections to Poland.
Lufthansa Cargo is now operating at eight stations across Poland.
