Local media reports suggest that Hong Kong Airlines is preparing to cut hundreds of more jobs and temporarily carry only cargo on its passenger planes.
The South China Morning Post states that the airline is planning to ground its entire fleet of A320s with only eight A330 jets flying in the interim, prioritising cargo. The airline is also claimed to be considering laying off 50 percent of its staff due to the prolonged impact of the pandemic.
