The Aurigny airline's £19.9million accumulated debt is to be repaid in full by the Guernsey government, with a further £5.3m set aside to cover expected losses up to 2017. The airline was bought by the government for £5m in 2003.
Aurigny is expected to return to profit in 2018 and may be rebranded to a name that "clearly positions it as a Guernsey airline", the government stated.
