Nazri Aziz, the Malaysian Tourism and Culture Minister has stated that Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will not be given any more financial support by the government and that the transport ministry has been tasked with creating an action plan for the airline, which will not include further capital injections.
The government, via Khazanah Nasional, holds 69.4% of the Malaysian flag carrier.
