The US has lifted the ban on passengers on Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi to the US using use larger gadgets, such as laptops, during their journey. The move came after Etihad confirmed "enhanced inspections" of passengers had convinced the US to lift its restrictions. The extra screening and checking is expected to make "minimal" difference to the time passengers spent going through security, according to the airline.
