DP Aircraft I is to acquire two 787-8s from AerCap that are currently on lease to Thai Airways. The Guernsey-based lessor has a portfolio of two Rolls-Royce powered 787 on long-term lease with Norwegian.
The purchase will be funded by a $106.8 million share placement and a $156.4 million loan.
